Caddy Scooter
Saturday, August 6th, 2011Need to know why, after replacing starting in '94 Caddy Deville sedan, car cranks but will not start.?
My neighbor just replaced the starter in '94 barge. It cranks fine, but will not start. The soil and other son were re-attached. (So he says.) The OBD system must indicate anything wrong. Is there a reset button to reset the computer to life when the power was disconnected? (I have no idea about cars. I am a tramp scooter.) I want to help the guy because he takes good care of the machine. (Better than I scoot!) I am confused as most of my cars were 70 models. No computer, no disc front wheel, etc. The battery is about worn out repeated attempts to start it. Thank you for help.
hello friend, and Happy Halloween. make sure the water. is at full power or you will test the electical sustem and smoke the son. Ask them to check the power cord goes into the dispenser. the harness can be obtained and shot with the car as old as it is. the safety clip may have been broken, not pull the whole wiring harness would not seize power from the coil. Or it may have blown or pulled apart the wire fuse on the power board to the ECM. Also check the son on drums, if there is more then just one wire to the terminal you can have accumulation of corrosion in the wire and, stopping the flow of power. look the son and see if they look bigger to the terminal, then the rest of the thread. If so, you should replace this part of the wire. I hope this info will help you and your friend on. Take care ... Robert
