do you think they would let me take a seat cover gel in the classroom? My ass is a little larger will not be scaring people with cycling shorts!
Definitely get lycra shorts. I used to worry about it, but once I got a pair, they were so comfortable that I do not care what people thought. If you're really worried about appearance, just make a pair of baggy shorts with them, such as mountain biking wear. You will not regret getting them. Do it TODAY! One last thing. Despite what people say, all the courts can bind and be uncomfortable. In this case, get some Assos chamois cream (yes it's really the name), or only some Bag Balm (probably your pharmacy sells it).
