Why is my scooter/ moped lost power?

Hi, i own a Peugeot Elyseo 125cc i have recently changed the spark plug and filled it with oil (4stroke) whilst doing this i noticed the oil was leaking quite bad from the rear of the scooter just above the tyre. Now i have only roughly 40% power.

Did you carefully measure the amount of oil added. sounds to me you may have overfilled the sump causing excess oil to block the silencer which would result in power loss.
