I had a baby on Oct 30, 2008, when can I start exercising, like walking and light stuff?

i had a vaginal delivery, I was lucky and had a easy labor

Well both of my deliveries were c sectioned. My first was really hard on my body. It took me awhile to even be able to get out of bed myself. This time I had a baby on Sept. 19th and I was grocery shopping and cooking and light house work that same week. Recently went hunting with my husband. We go for hikes thru the woods. I think it depends on your body. Listen to it. If you start hurting, take it easy. People say 6 weeks, but who really can sit and do nothing for 6 weeks? Just dont over exhert yourself.
