Why can't a have an avatar in a wheelchair?
I don't understand why we can't add things like wheelchairs or crutches to our Yahoo avatars - many differently-abled people are very happy with who they are and how they look, and would like to be portrayed as they really are and not forced to be portrayed as something they're not. It's also kind of insulting for some people that a service like Yahoo, who represents millions and millions of different people, doesn't have avatar representation of a pretty large group of those users.
I think you might want to write Yahoo! and let them know how you feel. I agree with you completely, though. But I also think that the this service if fairly new and they are still figuring out ways to make it better for everybody.
