Using windows xp. Password entry problem.?

If somehow you manage to set it so when you log into windows you require a password and you don't know it is there anyway to log in or get it so you remove it requiring one? My x's little brother somehow put her in a jam.

When you start the computer, at the boot screen, try pressing F9, F10, F11, or F12. Each one will pull up a different menu. Find the one that pulls up the BOOT MENU. You will need to boot the computer in SAFE MODE. By doing this, your computer should bypass all paswords, and allow you to log in. If when you get to the log in screen and it has an ADMINISTRATOR profile, log in as administrator. Then, go to Control Panel, User Accounts, select your user account and remove the password.
