why most non woven materials are made of synthetic/man made fibers?

non woven can be made by using natural fibers, waste products and synthetic fibers. i need to know why most of non woven are made by synthetic?

Because it's cheaper, and because you can design the fabric with the properties you want. Natural materials must be used with the properties they have.
