Companion Wheelchair
Which race is most appropriate? (The dog)?
Ok, we believe in saving a dog / puppy. My husband is home alone most of the day he is disabled and uses a wheelchair / walking sticks. We also have a child with autism 10YR a 9yr old with ADHD and a very quiet and well-bred 4 years old. I'm happy to walk and excersise a dog (a little peace and quiet away from the chaos for me!). I think a dog would be a good companion for my husband during the day while children are in school and I work, but also with the temperament to cope with children! I'm Research in Labrador x Spaniel currently, but can anyone suggest another race deserves to be studied? We have 2000 sqm garden and a large park behind our house, I could take a dog twice a day around the park, and many excursions into the countryside (including we did several times a week anyway) I've never owned a dog before, but my husband a. : D
great choice - I have a mixture of spaniel and she is wonderful every dog is different, but taking the family to the local animal shelter and taking some of the dogs to see who would work is a great way to find the perfect dog, it will just take time and patience. My mother and I also have a miniature schnauzer and he is awesome. My mother has always had schnauzers and never thought she would get another race, but the spaniel won her heart. Certainly children help you with the dog.
