Why do so many cars and trucks stall on railroad tracks?
I was watching a show on train wrecks and it seems like an abnormal amount of cars and trucks seem to just stop running right in the middle of crossing railroad tracks. What are the odds of that, eh?
To further this question, why do people stay in the car when they see the train coming? And if they have time, why not push the car off the track since tracks usually run on a hump in the road? And why do trucks when stuck in traffic at a light when the gates come down, don't just slowly push the cars in front out of the way? Am I the only one who always looks before they cross.
