Why does my Wal-Mart no longer carry Purex liquid laundry detergent?
I was shopping at Wal-Mart last night and I needed to purchase some laundry detergent. I am a pretty loyal Purex liquid Free and Clear user. But, to my dismay, it was not on the shelf at Wal-Mart and there was no Purex liquid at all on the shelf. Some other brand had taken over the spot. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?
My guess would be that there were too many customer complaints. I used Purex just once in my lifetime and not only was it watery but it left my clothes smelling musty. I washed several loads before I realized where the smell was coming from. Everything had to be re-washed. I'm sure other people have had the same unpleasant experience with that brand. Never again.
