Breathing Exerciser

I don't jog/run long distances.. Can I Thursday?

I play softball and me and my friend want to start running.
Now i'm not like a total in shape runner exerciser
and I hate running but I can run base to base easy.
me and my friend plan to go running/jogging thursday in the reserve
the reserve has hills and long distances.
Its cold and for me breathing in cold air and running like hurts idk why.
But idk if I should go running..
and since im not a runner I dont think its a good idea to just go running long distances suddenly?
should I?

i think you should start doing a little at a time . and just start progressing . you should be okay.
