Do kittens/cats ever fake purr, like a child will fake cry?
My kitten was generally causing havoc around my apartment, running around at top speed, knocking over things, and chewing on aluminum foil. I picked her up and put her on my lap and she tried to get away. I wouldn't let her, and started petting. She gave me what looked like a glare, and then started purring and rested. Somehow I don't think this purr is sincere. Thoughts? Opinions?
It's called "self soothing".I've seen it a million times with the cats I need to pull blood from.Some even do "pushy paws".It's kind of like us humming when we're nervous.
