Do these things make a firearm any more deadly?
Why do politicians seem to think they make a firearm more deadly?
No, barrel shrouds, threaded barrels, flash hiders, muzzle breaks, detachable magazines, collapsible or adjustable stocks, or protruding pistol grips does not make any firearm more deadly. Gun control, the kind of control that puts the bullet exactly where you want it to be out of an accurate gun is what makes any firearm the deadliest, and that has nothing to do with the gun, but is done by the person shooting the gun.
We have politicians that are far to stupid to be where they are at, that are listening to people with even less intelligent than the politicians posses feeding these stupid politicians false information that these politicians believe fully, and completely.
For the first century and a half no one questioned our fore father about the right they protected when they wrote the Bill of Rights, then the gun grabber started showing up, and made many stupid gun control laws for the next three-quarter of a century. Now it is swinging back and these firearm owners are putting a stop to almost all of the gun grabbers stupid laws they try to get passed. Thanks mostly to the NRA and some other progun organizations, and their members. I sincerely believe that if a person owns a firearm they should be a member of one of these organization, if they want to keep their right to keep and bear arms.
